Looking at the different shades of grey.. When one thinks of the color grey, the first thing that comes to mind is the color made by mixing a little black and white. Those two colors together make the color gray, but there are many more tones, tints, and shades of gray that make the color more complex. Books, music and soon to be movie titles
When it comes to gray, or any other color, there are actually many different variations of that color. Looking at the paint strips (shown above) the darkest of the strips (shown below) is called the shade and the lightest color strips (shown above) are called the -hue. All the different tones between shades and tints are made by mixing different amounts of pure white in dark shades. Each different color tone, in each strip, belongs to the same color family

Our Review Of Dorian Gray By Sherwin Williams
When you look at different paint color samples in a paint store, you will see that not all, but most paint colors have a golden-yellow tone. The yellow tone, while small, warms the color slightly In paint fans, the color of the paint changes from cool (blue) to warm (based on yellow) as it progresses through the paint’s filaments. Sometimes it is not necessary for the color to go through many transitions from cold to warm (An example of this, for a paint color fan, is when you see a peach with a pale yellow color, which turns the salmon into a pale yellow pink; and the salmon can start to move/progress to true pink .It has a golden-yellow tone.. No, and more than mauve because it is more cool and blue).
In the world of painting, the color can be gray by adding a small difference from the color wheel, gray to blue, and yellow to gray to violet (purple), violet (violet) can be gray to yellow. In the world of interior and exterior paint,

Choosing the Right Gray Color… To choose the right gray color for your home, you need to do something about pulling it into a piece of inspiration. A granite, marble, quartz, Corian or Formica countertop in your kitchen can be a good start, or a stone, ceramic or marble facing fireplace is another. If you have gray as part of your home’s color story, found in soft or muted fabrics, a patterned carpet, a large painting in shades of gray, or wooden furniture, you can start there.
Now let’s take a look at the stone samples and some of the gray colors taken from the stones that one can use if the stones shown are inspired. This rock sample, which I don’t know if it is marble or granite, has many shades of gray, gray-green, and gray-purple. The paint I have next to it shows gray and subtle green tones. If you look closely at the black color of the stone, the black shade of the paint almost matches the color of the stone. The light color of the paint is very close to the vein of the stone. Any color above the color line of the paint will be suitable for the wall colors, as it compliments the inspired stone / accent. This stone sample is the same as the one shown today, but this time I put a gray-purple sample next to it. As I mentioned before this stone sample is gray, gray-green and gray-purple in color. Watch the color of the paint change from gray-green to gray-purple, quickly light it in different directions.
