Best Gray Green Paint Colors For Interior Wall
Green paint can be very versatile and work with many different accent colors. Not to mention that vegetables carry a cool attitude and we all need them after the last few years. From sea glass green to more moody colors, green can go with almost anything. We will be painting the Myrtle house in a few months, and I am trying to figure out a paint color. I don’t want to spoil this choice. Repainting a room is difficult, but repainting the whole house is tedious. So, I did a lot of side by side comparisons and put paint color chips together. You may remember this post in blue-green. While I still love all those colors, I was looking for some slightly softer shades in the same family. Below are my choices for grey/blue/green.
This color is a hard to find room shot, and with one of these images, the blog author says that she ended up repainting the room because it came from baby blue (first image below). However, Emily Henderson listed it as one of her top 10 picks, and it looks quite different in the second photo below. To me, the swatches have a light green undertone, so this color can look very different depending on how much light is in the room. Regardless, I think this paint color is worth at least testing!
If you remember the beautiful bathroom I wrote about last week, the name of this paint might ring a bell. It’s actually the same color that was used in this beautiful bathroom remodel. It’s a pure green blue with a hint of gray from the others, but it’s really fresh and airy.
This color seems very similar to Oyster Shells, but maybe a little less intense. Again, the amount of blue or green that penetrates depends on the lighting in the room. However, I am quite in love with the colors in this dining room.

Place it in a room that doesn’t have a lot of natural light. If you do, I fear it will be too gray. Leaning this way for the living room/kitchen at Myrtle House.
This color, although beautiful, is more intense than the one above. It’s not one of those colors that you can’t stick to one color category. For me, when you look at it, I think “must be blue”. It would be great in the bathroom. It’s also my main contender for the master bedroom. I don’t know if I would put it in a large living room; It can be a little overwhelming.
Another color that is a bit intense, but perfect in a bedroom or bathroom. Gray Whisp is a gray teal shade. This paint color definitely has more green tones than blue.
