. Just as gray will have undertones, blue tends to flex its color muscles (which I wrote more about here if you’re interested). So even when the blue in your gray is an UNDERTONE, it can also have its own undertone in its deep pockets.
And remember, when it comes to choosing gray-blue, don’t just go for the one you like, you also need to think about what products, exposure and finishes in your room are better, even if they’re a little off. Outside your personal comfort zone.
Blue-grey with green is still a cool color because blue and green are traditionally cool colors, but green can soften the look of blue. It won’t be hot, but it looks a little more inviting than the cool blue mix (it’s eye-opening, after all).
Blue gray with purple looks a bit cold, which means that purple is often seen as a good color. When you add blue to purple (technically you’re adding red, but I’m pretty meat and potatoes here), you’ll change your blue, making it look a little cooler.

My FAAAVE is clearly a blue-grey mix. The Cliffs of Gibraltar is a beautiful stormy combination of blue and gray with a small green background. It’s a color that’s really open to interpretation because people say it’s gray and others see it as light blue. So it’s up to you how it looks in your eyes!
Stony Brook is definitely a color ninja. It’s not like it’s going to be purple, it’s definitely a blue-green mix, but the green can take over or be changed, leaving more blue on the table (or wall, really…)

Network gray is a very good “boundary” gray. It has a blue undertone, and while that undertone can lean just a little green, it can shift the other way, especially if you have a north-facing light.

Jubilee is one of the best blue-gray-purple colors because the blue still looks party enough without the purple being too overpowering.
