Our house has never had a big “reveal”, because honestly – we just couldn’t handle it! As soon as one task ends, another task begins. We’re breaking dots left, right and center here… what can they say?

I found the task much easier when I started doing it again. I used an “S” pattern to clean each brick, going apart in sections. It helps you focus and ignore everything around you (and everyone else). Get in the zone and you’ll be surprised how well you do.

I split our work into three parts over three days to narrow it down a bit. After cleaning, my husband sandblasted each part and sanded the joints with fresh sand to remove what I blasted and cleaned. By working together dreams come true!

So, one less job, it’s only 500! Just kidding… like. 2020 may be the year for our next big reveal!
