I used 1 tablespoon of borax mixed with 3-4 tablespoons of Dawn liquid dish soap. Then I poured 3-4 cups of warm water into the rest of the bottle and dissolved it in the spray bottle.

After I sprayed it on my pillows and dampened it once, I went out with my trusty AutoRight and got to work!

I gave all the cushions a good scrubbing with a nylon scrubber, re-covered with fabric steamer, then rinsed with a garden hose and set out in the sun for 24 hours to dry.

For our 6 pillows with backs and seats, I use 1/2 gallon of warm water, 1 tsp. Dawn dish soap and 1/2 cup vinegar. Cleaned the top and bottom 3 bearings before draining this dirty fluid and repeated the process for the next 3 bearings.

No, not visible. After two coats of this spray, the fabric felt exactly the same. Honestly, a little tweaking might be good to make sure it works. However, the fabric is still soft and non-sticky.
