When preparing your files for a print project, you should always know the color scheme of the entire file. This applies to your latest photos, images and PDFs. Create your product in CMYK color format whenever possible.

CMYK stands for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Cyan (Black). If you don’t save your output in CMYK, it will automatically convert your design to RGB. RGB stands for Red, Green and Blue – it’s the color scheme you see when you see everything on a monitor. Your phone, computer, tablet, TV, etc. are all RGB.

Color printing is also known as four-color printing, full-color printing, process printing, and CMYK printing. Four-color printing separates all colors into 4 different color values ​​(cyan, magenta, yellow, and black).
CMYK printing is an additive color process using ink or ink. RGB is a negative color process based on luminance. When you add layers of paint on top of each other, they blend together. Let’s discuss the definition of CMYK, how this color works in commercial printing, and why it is the dominant color model. What is CMYK?
