The solution was rubbed into the plate with a stiff brush and the white spot was effectively removed. Of course, it is not necessary to leave the acid on all surfaces for a long time, so treat the floor by dividing it and washing it with water, and removing the rest with a wet vacuum cleaner.

The terracotta floor was left to dry overnight and I returned the next day to seal it. To seal the tiles, I used three coats of Tile Doctor Seal & Go Extra, which provides a strong surface seal and is recommended for interior floors with moisture issues.
