Magnolia Home Luxe Paint Color – I think of a formal dining room as a place to be creative and bold. For rarely used areas in our homes. (Sometimes I say we used it twice a year), but this room is the first room you see when you walk in the door. I thought I should make a statement. I’ve been thinking about a color scheme since we moved. Finally purchased the Magnolia Home Luxe paint at our local Ace Hardware. Let’s talk a little about this color. You all know how much I love Joanna, but she went above and beyond with this color! It’s thick and fits in just one coat! I hate drawing, but this color makes it so easy! We leave the original base and crown white. And I felt I achieved the editorial goals by adding a completely contrasting color.

I ordered this rug from Rugs USA and it arrived quickly and filled the room just the way I wanted it. Their rugs always amaze me. And they’re often 50% off, making larger rugs more affordable. Finally, a large, custom farm table will replace the current one. So I want to make sure the rug works with that piece of furniture. So I ordered a larger size. To extend the dining room table for a minute, Josh built ours when he was in high school. Although our color scheme has changed over the years. This chart has emotional significance. So when the time comes, we’ll replace it with the gaming table above. Josh has big plans to build a new table. I can’t wait to see what he thinks!

Magnolia Home Luxe Paint Color

The curtains are from West Elm and echo prints. I originally ordered this for our living room. But I don’t like how they look against a white and gray wall. I don’t think the ivory on the curtains matches the cool colors of the room. But…..they look great in a cozy kitchen! I love the thickness of the material. Excellent quality!
