For the past year, Benjamin Moore has stopped updating their best selling paint colors on their website. It was really disappointing. However, Last week they updated it (probably for the new year) and I’m always curious about Benjamin Moore’s best selling and most popular colors.

You can’t choose a paint color just because it’s popular or trendy, but a paint color needs to be beautiful and convincing to stand out from hundreds of other colors, so I always go for the best selling colors. Benjamin Moore has the best blues of any paint company. Smoke and Hale Navy are two stellar colors that have been on the bestseller list for years because these colors are amazing and consistent in different lighting conditions.

I’m not surprised that the grays featured on the Benjamin Moore bestseller list are Benjamin Moore’s best and most trusted shades. Collingwood is a new color for me; But when I saw this modern French house in the Salt Lake City Parade of Homes a few months ago, I fell in love with this color.
Collingwood is a slightly warmer than traditional balanced grey. no yellow Just a little hot. I personally love it, but don’t forget that this house is filled with lots of natural light.
Despite Stonington’s popularity over the past few years, This is the first time it has been seen on the bestseller list. Stonington is a darker (pigmented) gray than Gray Point. However, It’s a subtle gray and can be too cool in certain lighting conditions.
It’s no surprise to see the Gray Owl and Edgecomb Gray on this list. These two stars are a warm gray and have been a bestseller for years because they are so beautiful and reliable.

Edgecomb Gray is a very light gray that I love to use. Indeed, Last year here, I covered Edgecomb Gray with colored light and shared several spaces painted in this versatile color.

As far as the most popular white people on this list go, there are few surprises; But I have to tell you, I’m surprised Benjamin Moore Decorator White didn’t make the list. Decorator’s White is probably one of the most popular paint colors in the world, so it must be a mistake. If you think you’re wrong and don’t know about Decorator’s White, put it on your radar.
My Favorite Warm Gray Paint Colors
Next to Sherwin Williams Gray Rose, Benjamin Moore Decorator White is on my list of “Go-To” colors and is the color I recommend to clients. It’s a great wardrobe; It is the color of the trim and interior door. However, This white instantly brightens the space with a warm tone at night or under artificial lighting, so cabinets, I recommend Decorator White for trim and interior doors. .
Benjamin Moore Plain White has really taken off in the last few years and has become one of the most popular whites. However, as the heat is very low, it is recommended only when there is a lot of natural light.

I used Benjamin Moore’s Balboa shade in the living room and dining room, and I wanted these rooms to be sunny and a little gray that didn’t wash out too much. This is one of my favorites and we may end up painting our master bedroom the same color this winter.
