I have received many suggestions for Behr white exterior paint. After searching the internet for sample pictures, I can understand why! Not surprisingly, my original post on Behr White Paints (for Interiors) remains my most popular content. For this article, I have compiled pictures of real houses painted with these beautiful white Behr exterior paint colors. I’ve added a few more suggestions.
Popular Behr Neutral Paint Colors
While researching this post, I discovered that several popular Behr whites are available as peel-and-stick paint samples. How strong! They’re $2 each and are available in three white colors:
The Trick To Choosing The Right Paint Color + 12 Perfect Neutral Paint Colors
White is deceptive because undertones affect how light is reflected from color. Bright white will stand out especially on the exterior of your home. For this reason I prefer a softer white for the exterior but that’s just my opinion. As always, it’s important to check your home’s paint colors. See colors at different times of the day as the light changes. You may wonder which color you like the most.
Other factors to consider are the style of your home and the decoration colors you have in mind. If you live in an adobe-style home in the southwest, you probably prefer warm whites. However, New England’s Cape Cod excels in vibrant, cool whites that play well with blues, reds and grays.
Let’s start with Behr’s light and neutral whites in the pack: Ultra Pure White, Polar Bear, Silky White and White.
I never thought I’d find such a beautiful example of Ultra Pure White on the exterior, as it’s such a bright white (which is my usual upholstery color). Since this is a tiny house with sharp accent colors, this house looks great in ultra pure white.
The New Neutrals
In the bright Florida sun, a white polar bear looks great in this one-story home with bright landscaping and cool black accents.
If you read about my favorite colors of Behr white here, you will see that Silky White is the interior color of our entire home. It’s a very neutral white and I feel it has a slightly warm undertone in our home. Silky white is perfect as the exterior color of this historic home.
Beer also creates a very neutral color and is called white. It’s sometimes called White 52, but it doesn’t have a cute color name, so it’s just the identifying code. It looks great in this beautiful house.
Here are some warmer whites that will look great in your home: Cottage White, Swiss Coffee, Spun Cotton and Original White. So far I’ve only been able to find pictures of Cottage White and Swiss Coffee.
The Perfect Shades Of Greige
Swiss coffee is one of my favorite fruit whites. Check out this cute house with its contrasting black door, shutters and house numbers.
Finally, I found some outdoor examples of these cool white Behr colors: Off White and Soft Focus. I also recommend Weathered White and Painter’s White as potential cool whites.
Here is another Mediterranean house, this time painted white with beer. This color looks great with turquoise green trim and a red tiled roof.

A question I often hear as a designer is about color. How do we know which colors, which brand, which brightness and undertones to use… I got it. Color is tough! And no one wants to paint an entire room after they realize it won’t work in space. Here’s the 411 on all things paint!
For starters, we always stick to a neutral palette because it’s our style. White, black and black. That’s what you’ll get in this article – our color guide with the best neutral colors and all the tips.
Best Paint Colors For A Small Room From Behr
The brightness of a color refers to how bright the color is. Every gloss has a durability level to consider. Many brands have glossy finishes such as plain (matte), eggshell, satin, semi-gloss and glossy. The more shine you see on the wall. So for textured surfaces, you may want a lower surface to hide it. Also, given how low brightness it is, it is sometimes difficult to clean. For example, erasing traces or dirt etc. It is more difficult on the plains and sometimes on eggshells. It also has to do with color quality. Always choose at least midway paint and primer from one of all brands. We usually choose the first or second option, the more expensive but higher quality paint makes all the difference in terms of durability and longevity.
I almost always personally choose satin. It gives very little shine, wipes off easily with little ones, and I like a clean, minimalist approach that keeps my walls neat and tidy. Another option is to make the coating stand out and shine. The walls are eggshell, satin embroidered, etc. I usually recommend this for my design project clients. It depends on your specific needs.
All of my woodwork, chest works and curtains have a minimal clean look with BM White Dove satin finish.
I know how harsh paint can be and there are many factors that cause this. First, the direction the house faces is best. This is directly related to the light the house receives. In addition, light can change the appearance of the exterior as it reflects and bounces off the windows. Interior furnishings, flooring and textiles can be an important factor, as the color of a paint can be taken from the environment of the space.

How do you know if the paint is working? Check it out! Here’s the thing – I highly recommend getting some foam poster board or at least a piece of thick cardboard. Take a sample from the paint store – make sure you use the color code of the paint so that the formula is correct when you match colors. Draw a large illustration on poster board or paper. Cross this across the area and tape it to the wall. The background is true white, so there are no undertones to pull off like on a wall of previous paint colors. You can carry it with you and watch it all day long. Focus on lighting, interior and natural light. It gives a more accurate idea of whether this color will work for you in your space! Try!
A wonderfully angled brush with a cushion handle, best beauty brush and non-shedding woven roller. I personally have not used a sprayer that we like. It’s on my list to find the next one. Spray paint is great for walls with a grinder to get a very clean, perfect color. Plus, this masking brush is great for windows and doors! Forget the tape and use the shell for the covers. Paint on the glass, then paint the window or door and remove the mask very easily! This makes painting the hard stuff easier than messing with tape.
