River tin is a home chameleon and is very versatile. Its best feature is that the shade remains gray while still being much warmer than other popular grays.
However, it is very muddy and has a slight green tinge at times. If this is what you are looking for, blanch for a “clean” look or if you are looking for an earthy shade, this is the perfect solution for you. This greenery will look very green outside the window or in the room. Green can also appear in combination with a dark floor.
If you choose to use Benjamin Moore River Pewter in a dark room or hallway, you run the risk of exposing it to too much light or becoming dull and lifeless. In this scenery or in a room with dark, heavy furniture, the tin raver will look light brown or beige.

The other side of this color is blue. In a spacious room with plenty of natural light, Revere Pewter will almost lose its yellow background and replace it with blue. It creates a traditional gray color while remaining warm.

Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter Review & Inspiration Ring’s End
Let’s start with my favorite salon! After going over a few paint colors, I opted for the BM Revere Pewter and I absolutely love it!
Our living room has this beautiful brown color with gray tones. Natural light is combined with tin to make the room cozy and warm. I think this is a great paint color for any open space, it helps to feel cozy in the room without overwhelming the space.
Kelly Bernier Designs contrasts beige with dark tones on the rug and dark wood floors in this respectable pewter family room. Natural light helps to keep the space open and the tin reaver helps to keep it neutral.
This kitchen, painted by Kayla Lane, has tin painted cupboards. As you can see, they are purely gray in color due to the light wood floor, and the color of the walls is more like a silver PPG feather effect.
How To Pick Paint Colors
You can see yellow and a little green in the middle with green on the counters and walls. Thanks to the lighting added to the room, it creates a warm atmosphere without making the room appear dark or closed. It goes well with light marble countertops.
In the adjoining kitchen from Bright Ideas in Martinique, they painted the raver tin, and the walls above the cupboards in light gray or white. Unlike the previous kitchen, it has little or no artificial lighting and a moderate amount of natural light.
Additionally, the combination of the Revere Pewter and White case goes well with the beige, if not overwhelming the gray. This, along with the dark floor, gives the space an enclosed feel, and you may wish to combine it with a breakfast bar or kitchen table for convenience.
In the second photo of this kitchen, due to the little space to paint the walls, the tin raver almost acts as an accent in the kitchen.
Best Home Decor Paint Colors: Edgecomb Gray
As you can see, the position of the first image is to the right of the second image. Although it has an open space, the Revere Pewter doesn’t block the space too tightly, giving it a warm feel and a visually satisfying transition from a white cabinet to a dark hardwood floor and an island.
Creating a contrasting design, this master bedroom is painted with Revere Pewterwalls and offers a subdued effect of natural light in combination with Cloud White.
Dark gray furniture and bedding complement the yellow colors well. In some, green is clearly visible, while yellow has almost completely disappeared. By letting in more natural light, the yellow color will disappear. Overall, Revere Pewter adds warmth to this room without being dark or cold.
Take a look at Kelly Bernier Designs River Pewter Bedroom which is similar to the previous bedroom but not the beige above. This is due to the light gray and blue accents in the dark gray and green tones of the room.
Benjamin Moore Williams Revere Pewter: A Complete Color Review
There is little natural light in the room and no artificial lighting in the photo, which contributed to the reverberation tin showing a truly neutral gray. If the room is bluer and bright, the Pewter reverb may cut through its blue color.
This stunning Scavulo Design bathroom features reverb pewter walls that beautifully display the warmth of the reverberation pewter. Both the beige and the gray stand out thanks to the natural light and gray accents on the tile and marble walls. This bathroom shows that green does not always accentuate the green color of Revere Pewter.
This respected master pewter bathtub by Young House Love contrasts beautifully with the back bathroom. Instead of an accent, river tin becomes the main element, bringing out the gray in the flood of natural light.
The yellow color comes from dark wood and golden brown in the carpet. It is a balance of warmth and coolness that does not overwhelm the space. Mirrors and shades of gray help open up this area nicely.
