Today we’re going to talk about Benjamin Moore’s famous white dove, including basic colors, color coordination, where to use it, and more, and hope it helps you find the right white for your home.

White Dove OC-17 is a soft, creamy neutral white that has been a Benjamin Moore bestseller for at least several decades. Also known as PM-19 (PM stands for pre-mixed paint), it’s versatile and has all the qualities you need in a near-neutral white paint. It has been the best selling and recommended trim and cabinet color for the past 30 years and has been used in my own home.

Why I Love Benjamin Moore’s Simply White Paint Color

Many people, myself included, use dove white as a decor color for their dove wall. The closest color to Dove is probably Sherwin Williams Alabaster. It has an LRV of 82, slightly darker than White Dove. They have the same tone.

Slightly warmer than pure white dove. It’s a much crisper, cleaner white with the 84 LRV.

Another similar color is the Greek villa. It is a bit darker and warmer or more beige than White Dove, 84’s LRV.

Snowbound LRV has a darker shade of 83 and a warmer hue than White Dove.
