Popular Fall Paint Colors 2021
Don’t let the name fool you, Toni Taupe is actually a BEIGE color, which means it’s also a WARM color, not a TRADITIONAL gold like some popular beige colors.
If you have north or east light, it will definitely hang a little longer, while maintaining a nice warm temperature. If you have southern or hot afternoon sun, it will be warmer, but because the beige color is more muted, it won’t look too golden or wrinkled.

Toni is a little quiet, but it can catch green eyes, especially if you combine it with pink (red) products.
Exterior House Colors
As with all colors, I recommend using SAMPLIZE. Sample is a paint and stick sampler that you can easily move around your room for HALF THE PRICE of a standard sampler container – and it’s delivered to your door!
As a warmer, deeper color, Toni Taupe is best paired with a soft warm white, such as Sherwin Williams Pure White. Tony Taupe is also a GREAT option with wood trim, for a more subtle contrast.
Toni Taupe can be GREAT outdoors as its LRV helps it not wash out as much as lighter colors. However, expect it to be BUGGIER than expected!
Every color has its shades and NOBODY is perfect. When you try to capture color, you’ll see changes in tone, temperature, and depth, but you see Benjamin Moore’s Indian River.

Are you looking for the perfect DARK gray or taupe color for cabinets, walls or exterior? You have come to the right blog! Today we’re exploring the DARK side with Sherwin Williams’ most popular dark neutrals. But before we get started, as always, we need to talk a little (insert wine here).

Depending on your color religion, do you think gray and taupe are the same (three soft strokes with wet spots) or completely different colors. On this side of the big color circle, although they all have the same PURPOSE (to be warmer than gray and cooler than beige), they are distinguished by the bases.
Greige is one of my favorite neutrals. Tied between gray and beige, it is more likely to survive in different trends because it is not completely committed to one or the other (referring to gray and beige / trends of the last 20 years). Some gray meets gray, making it cooler, while others lean towards the warmth of beige, making it warmer. But no matter what angle they lean on, everyone loves a green tone (and more rarely, a wink o’ violet).
But while you can see the neutral grays at the LIGHT end (the tone is SUPER subtle), you’ll notice that as you get darker the grays get MORE tones. That means it exists
Similar to gray, taupe is between gray and beige and can be slightly cooler or cooler depending on the specific mix. However, the most preferred taupe color is mauve (purple-pink) and lighter green.

Taupe is as heavy as gray when it comes to darker options and you’ll find that the darker the gray the more the PURPLE and BROWN show up – consider yourself warned.
The key to knowing whether you want gray or dark red is to decide which tone – green or purple – best suits your finish! Remember that just because you prefer one sound, it doesn’t mean your home is right for you.

Anonymous is SUNNER, although I wonder what his real name is. Anonymous is hot with an LRV of 20, it’s a great way to make an impact without diving into the dark end.

As a gray color, Anonymous has a soft green undertone. If you don’t like green, this might make you a little nervous, but you can be sure that it is not GOOD for this last demanding tone.
As for the darker shades, Mink (and the darker Folkstone) is MY FAVORITE. However, with the level of gray in them, they can be described as a warm gray. Both colors have a slight purple tint
Mink has an LRV of 21 and is a popular choice for exteriors when combining purple stone/brick/roofing – similar to Folkstone (LRV 14). In the picture above, it’s easier to see how Mink looks like a dark gray rather than a warm gray.

Truly Taupe (6038)
When we talk about DARK gray, Keystone Gray is not the first thing that comes to mind because of its depth. However, since it’s on the EDGE and such a pretty color, I want to take a closer look.
Keystone Gray is a medium deep gray. Even if that means it has a green tone, a good reason is that the tone is VERY hard to see and hard to pronounce.
