Exterior Paint Colors That Are On Trend For 2021
Don’t let the name fool you, Tony taupe is actually a beige color, which means it’s also a warm color, not traditionally blonde like some popular beiges.
If you have a north or east light, it will certainly be a little more muted, keeping a nice passive heat. If you have southern light or warm afternoon sunlight, it will warm up a bit, but being a more muted beige, it won’t look too golden or suffocating.

The tone is very passive, but you can get a subtle green eye, especially if you cooperate with products that have pink (red) tones.
The Best Sherwin Williams White Paint Colors In 2020
As with all paint colors, I highly recommend using SAMPLIZE. Swatches are peel-and-stick paint samples that you can easily carry around your room for more than half the cost of traditional pots and are delivered to your front door.
Being a warm color with a bit more depth, Tony taupe likes to pair with a warm, soft white like Sherwin Williams Pure White. For a more subtle contrast, tony taupe is also a beautiful choice with wood trim.
Toned tulle can be amazing outdoors as its LRV helps keep it from washing out as much as lighter colors. However, expect it to be hotter than expected.
Each paint color has its own nuances and there will not be a perfect match. You’ll notice changes in hue, temperature, and depth when repeating paint colors, but you can check out Benjamin Moore’s Indian River.

Looking for the perfect dark gray or tape for your cabinets, walls or exterior? You have come to the right blog. Today we explore the dark side of things with Sherwin William’s most popular dark neutrals. But before we get started, as always, we need to have a little chat (insert wine here).
Exterior Color Schemes That Work
Depending on your color religion, you think gray and tan are the same thing (three light passes with a wet noodle) or completely different colors. On this side of the big color wheel, while both have similar intentions (being warmer than gray and cooler than beige), it’s their hue that sets them apart.
Gray is one of my favorite neutrals. Between gray and beige, it is also more likely to survive different trends because it is not fully committed to one or the other (referring to gray and beige/trends of the last 20 years). Some grays give off a gray tone, making them appear a bit cooler, while others lean towards the warmth of beige, making them appear warmer. But even if you lean, everyone prefers green (and more rarely, winking purple).
But if you can find some fairly neutral-looking grizzlies on the lighter end of things (their undertones are too subtle), you’ll notice that as grizzlies get darker, they tend to take on more undertones. This means that there is
Like gray, gray sits between gray and beige and can lean slightly warm or cool depending on your exact mix. However, the preferred shade of purple is mauve (pink-violet) and, more rarely, shades of green.
Exterior Historic Colors From Sherwin Williams
The type is as hard as greige when it comes to the darker versions, and you’ll notice that the darker the top, the more purple and brown it gets; be careful!
The key to figuring out whether you need gray or brown is deciding which shade, green or purple, best suits your finish. Remember, just because you prefer one shade over another, doesn’t mean your home agrees with you.

Anonymous is stunning, although I wonder what his real name is. With 20 LRV, Anonymous is a great way to make an impact without diving into the DEEP end of the dark realm.
Exterior Paint Color Schemes
Being a greige, Anonymous has a soft green color. If you don’t like green tones, you may blush a little, but it can give a gentle but overwhelming nod to meet the requirements of this particular shade.
As for dark tops, mink (and dark folkstone) are my favorites. However, with a degree of gray in them, they can be said to be called warm gray. Both colors have a slightly noticeable violet tint when still
Mink has an LRV of 21 and is a popular choice for exteriors when certain stones/bricks/roofs are found with purple tones, such as folkstone (LRV 14). In the photo above, it’s pretty easy to see how the mink appears as a shadow instead of a warm gray.
This next photo shows how quickly a color like mink or folkstone can warm up with a good amount of mid-afternoon southern or western sunlight…
All About Exterior Paint
When it comes to dark grays, key gray is not the first thing that comes to mind because of its depth. However, since it’s on the EDGE and such an unusual color, I’d like to take a closer look.
Keystone Gray is a medium deep solid gray. And while that means it has a green undertone, the big reason for that is because the undertones are so hard to see and not worth mentioning.
