This helps reduce the surface temperature of the tires so they are cooler under your bare feet than the typical dark spot colors. The colors identified are deck and dock stains, which provide a higher level of water repellency and protection to damaged wood.

#1 Deck Solid Color Wood Stain is an extremely durable synthetic resin stain that protects against the damaging effects of water, fungus and UV radiation on exterior wood surfaces. This ultra-low VOC water-based product provides maximum protection for your wood by blocking the sun’s harmful UV rays, moisture and fungal growth.

This product is step 3 of a 3 step process. Before staining, be sure to clean the wood first. Clean if the wood is new or if the previous stain is no longer present. Also, be sure to lighten the wood to prepare the wood for stains.

Surface and air temperatures should be between 45° F and 95° F. Avoid applying in direct sunlight. Do not apply to wet or waterlogged surfaces or when rain is expected within 12 hours. Stain can be applied to wooden surfaces on the same day as cleaning and lightening, as long as the surface is visibly dry before staining.

Shake or stir the contents before and periodically during use. To ensure absolute color uniformity from container to container, mix at least 1/3 of the product from a used container with the contents of a new one. Do not dilute the product.

Correct application requires the application of 2 layers of the product, allowing the first layer to dry before applying the second. Brush off any residue, drips, etc. before they dry. After all vertical surfaces have been treated with two layers of stain, proceed to treatment of horizontal surfaces.

On touch, one to two hours depending on temperature and humidity. Allow 24 hours to cure completely before use. High humidity and lower temperatures can increase the drying time.
