I’m getting ready for an event that will take me out of town in a few weeks, so I’ve been short on posts. Today I will share some simple and fun things. My projects for the tiny house!
Tiny House Floor Plans Free
I made them in Icovia’s online software The Make Room, followed by some corrections/modifications in Photoshop and SketchUp. I’m new to Icovia, but I’ve learned to use the program faster and more fun than SketchUp for 2D drawings. I will soon make these 3D plans. Icovia is free, you can save multiple formats, parts and copy/rename documents to create a simple document.

I wanted to be able to sleep well in a few guests without giving up the opportunity to stay when I wake up in my little house. As you can see, I have a queen in the bedroom (2), I have a sofa bed (2), and the second floor above the balcony is a room to store, but enough to create a good bedroom / reading room (1). I honestly think this will be my favorite place in the house and I will put the window to take full advantage of the view from there. For the convertible sofa, I haven’t found anything that fits my conditions: 30 “deep, 70” wide and a style I like, so I think I’ll make it for myself. Finished the simple pattern I needed to learn how to weld (LOL) and attach the 2 pads. Once assembled, it’s 3 inches shorter than the double bed…not bad!
The high desk space (36-37″) is easy on my back and my family. I’m 5’6″, but I’m the shortest in my family (except my grandmother). So it was necessary and a real gift to be able to put together a 20 inch refrigerator and my 15.5 inch oven with an oven on it and cover that area when I don’t use my oven and use it. on jobs as an opportunity to prepare.
My only concern is creating an air gap between the fridge and the oven. The legs of the stove are given about 2 inches as is and I can add a little more. As for the sink, I’m thinking of a simple two sided bowl. The back basin will serve as a cup holder. You can’t see it in these 2D projects, but there is a shelf on the wall between the kitchen and the living room, and that shelf is only 36-48 inches high . We cook together with my friends when we meet at someone’s house and it seemed to me that I wanted to keep this section open to encourage dialogue between the two opportunities I had. .on the side of the sofa / dresser that goes up on the top and can double as a step when using my mobile phone on the second top.
