Update Bathroom With Almond Fixtures – Walnut bathroom fixtures may be outdated, but sometimes you can use what you have. I’m going to show you how I keep my clothes fresh and trendy. Our downstairs bathroom shines with its cobalt blue and black tiles and walnut. This is the biggest bathroom in the house. But don’t use too much. We only really use it for the jacuzzi after a long days skiing. But I plan to change all that. After demolishing the ugly tiles. I will use walnuts instead of replacing them. It will save me a lot of money and time and keep completely useless stuff out of the landfill. Relaxation, which transforms our downstairs bathroom into the highlight of the home. I want to create a spa-like retreat. But before I break down, let me show you how I’m going to transform the space. When the barn door was built to hide the downstairs bathroom before the renovation. You know your bathroom is ugly. The bathroom wasn’t a family room, so I closed the closet door and forgot about it. The blue tiles accentuate the walnuts and make them stand out. My plan is to add them to the design in brown, Tan and beige tiles are to be used. The key to decorating and installing walnut is to never use white. White makes walnuts look dirty and outdated. As much as I hate almond bathrooms, mixing a white almond bathroom with an almond bathroom makes it look even better. Having an almond barrel would cost a fortune to replace the water circuit, and the room was certainly built around it. You can also use this instead because you tend to have nightmares when you go outside. The glass windows will remain, but I plan to stain the trim to match the vanity. As the sun sets, you begin to see the potential of the space. Refreshing neutrals; Soak in the bathtub surrounded by a good book and a glass of wine. The shiny silver towel bar will be replaced with something inspired by this list of DIY towel rack ideas. Vanity remodeling has its problems on the other side of the bathroom. The barber shop was custom-made for the space, with a left-sloping wall on one side. You have to go to the pink-brown door. I’m going to replace the dishwasher door that I built for our kitchen with one that I painted chocolate brown to match the sink door. There are mirrors on three walls, creating an interesting home effect. When you get out of the pool, no one needs to see you from all angles. We will remove the side mirrors and attach them to pop out the mirrors. The shelf on the left side holds the bathroom accessories and finally the towel can be hung on the right side. The hexagonal shelf will be perforated along with the black tile counter. We have four different shaped ponds at our house. .. hexagon, rectangle Oval and triangular. I found a rectangular walnut sink that would fit angled into the existing hole (after the hexagon sides were trimmed) So I was able to leave the plywood top intact. The counters will be refinished with limestone slabs to match the nuances of the tile I will be using for the rest of the bathroom. Almond Bathroom Inspiration Throughout the planning process, I second-guessed the color of the sink and toilet. I know there must be a tub, But is it really bad to replace everything else? It really helps to look at pictures of walnut bathroom fixtures and where they have been used, rather than replacing them. I’d be happy if my room was a little better. Photo by Susan Jay Design Obviously, My bathroom looks nothing like the picture above. But when surrounded by the same color palette, you can see that the walnut barrel is outdated. I hope to achieve this spa-like feel in my own bathroom renovation. Photo Otero Signature Homes I plan to use many of the same colors as this bathroom. faucet with polished bronze; The combination of chocolate brown cabinets and walnut barrels looks great. One Room Challenge I’m really looking forward to tackling this bathroom renovation as part of the One Room Challenge. This is all I need to complete this project. We have a large bathtub that we never use and this is crazy to me. By giving the space a spa-like feel; I hope it becomes the most relaxing place in the house. The One Room Challenge is only six weeks old; This does not leave much time for bathroom remodeling when you are doing all the work yourself. I finished the teardown before the challenge started so hopefully I’ll have a good chance of finishing it in time. It looks messy; But I can already imagine new places. There’s still a lot to do! Here is my list so you can see my progress over the next six weeks.
