Sherwin Williams Exterior Color Palette – Paint colors are a major home decision. If you’re a buyer, you’ve probably seen recent posts about my parents’ downsizing and various renovation plans for their new place. Today we are sharing Sheeran Williams favorite color choice.
As with all homes, but especially smaller homes, it’s important to have a uniform color scheme for the entire block.
Sherwin Williams Exterior Color Palette
When choosing a color scheme, start with matching items or key accessories you want to keep. We’re doing a complete renovation and all finishes can be chosen, so we started with the main furniture and fabric pieces we planned to bring in to pick a color scheme.
Coastal Home Color Palette Sherwin Williams Interior Paint
The floor is a large area and to avoid replacing the floor in this lofty living space we chose a warm oak style durable luxury vinyl plank that runs throughout the unit including the kitchen and bathroom. The color was specifically chosen to complement his maple painted Hitchcock body parts.
A maple bookcase displays favorite treasures. Luxury vinyl plank flooring was color-selected to blend with the bodywork. The walls are decorated with alabaster in Shireen Williams Devin White.
A major problem with the moving process was that most of the flooring was installed in the wrong color and had to be replaced after we arrived.
The crew chief’s favorite brand of paint was Sheeran Williams, and although it matched the colors of other brands, I wouldn’t recommend it because the colors are never the same because the bases and colors are proprietary to the brand. I love Sherwin Williams and 99% of people picture him or Benjamin Moore, so I’m glad I chose the colors from the Sherwin Williams paint deck.
Top Paint Color Trends Of 2021
I chose white for all the trim in the house to match the color of the white kitchen cabinets and white bathroom fixtures. Leo William Alabaster is a friendly, slightly warm but still bright white that works perfectly. We used it in a semi-gloss finish for all crown moldings, doors, door and window corners, foyer chair rails and sconces.
The wainscot is made with picture frame molding that is mounted directly on the wall, and both the applied molding and the wall below the seat rail are painted in semi-gloss alabaster.
The furniture in the living room is cream, pink and green tones. With a good dose of our original shade of green in the furniture and rugs, we chose a very neutral warm cream for the walls called Divine White.
Both the kitchen and foyer are painted a vibrant green with alabaster trim. Green porcelain complements the herringbone backsplash and gold trim on the light fixtures and cabinet hardware.
Picking Exterior Paint Colors: 4 Things To Know
Green appears as an accent color in the master bedroom paired with dark blue commodore on the walls. The main bath is a reddish blue called Mountain Air.
The second bedroom has only blue and yellow accented with green. The bathroom decor for this room is painted in a reddish creamy yellow color called white.
Green and alabaster provide continuity while creating a whole, as the rooms relate to the main living areas, while allowing each individual space its own identity.
Of course, there is still a list of things to do…missing alcove, undercabinet lighting not yet installed, tiling finished and sanded, etc. We still need to get some artwork for the bed wall in the master suite, some closets still need redecorating, and some new furniture for the bedroom and balcony, but we’re almost there. Done!
