With an LRV of just 58.83, SW 6078 is an excellent mid-tone color that is surprisingly light and airy, especially outdoors.
We used it a few years ago during our production of Tudor Paint Colors. It’s an accent color that contrasts with the everyday white you’ll find in this gray paint color combination!
Along with 72 LRV, this is one of the lightest shades of gray around. However, don’t avoid it because you’re afraid it’s too white! It really is the perfect “in between” color!
Best Gray Paint Colors Recommended By Designers
In this picture, it looks white when paired with the SW Realist Beige finish, but it has the right fat undertones and is similar to Benjamin Moore’s Pale Oak.
If you’re using it on interior walls, pair it with true white paint for extra contrast, or consider my favorite wall painting trick and use the same color for the finish.
The Classic Gray OC-23 is absolutely stunning! While it can still be considered white, this color background also lends itself to the greige family.
With an LRV of 74.78, it is the lightest and brightest gray paint in this range. I want to use it for our master bathroom vanity make – stay tuned!
