Are you looking for the perfect gray color for your closets and 50 shades of gray? Do you lean towards the slightly WARM end of things that don’t jump off the cream or dark streak? Revere Pewter may be just the color you’ve been looking for!

But there are some very important caveats to this, as not ALL grays are created equal, and Revere Pewter is definitely a step outside of the standard gray box.
Current Crush: Greige Cabinetry
Revere Pewter is WARM gray in color, so it has “dirt” or dark in it. Will BEIGE be in your closet? No, it’s not that hot.
Although it looks like a very real gray in some light, it actually has a greenish tint and it’s THAT hard. Most popular white quartz products produce a purple color rather than green. Now, some even drop the Revere Pewter and enjoy playing the sound, while others (including me) don’t bother with this collaboration.

This next photo shows Revere Pewter (darker) compared to the more stormy version of Benjamin Moore Stonington Grey.
Is Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter The Right Cabinet Paint Colour For You?
Revere Pewter has an LRV of 55.77, which means it’s a deep light color, but ooooo, it’s closer to medium depth because there’s a little more meat on the bones.
However, you may find that the cabinet paint (recommended PURCHASE finish) color may be a little lighter than you expect, especially if you’ve seen Revere Pewter on the walls (matte or egg). That’s why I usually recommend either 25% or 50% darkening of Revere Pewter – yes, try both. Painting Kitchen Cabinets MASSIVE DESIGN; Take your time with sampling!
In my kitchen, I chose Revere Pewter for the cabinets and darkened it about 25% to give it a little more depth. I paired it with the stunning Cambria Brittanica Warm in Revere Pewter. I also painted our bedroom/bathroom doors with Revere Pewter to create a visual connection and complement the white look.
As you can see in the next photo, I rearranged the cabinets, giving me more cabinet space!

But, to be honest, I regret choosing Revere Pewter for my cabinets and doors. Why? First of all, I regret most of my choices because I always “
‘- the nature of the profession. But the real reason I don’t like Revere Pewter is that it limits the paint color for my walls – that’s right, my walls.
Revere Pewter is a light to medium deep warm gray with a green undertone. To achieve any contrast with the walls, my walls must be white or white with tones that match the Revere Pewter (limiter). I like to change things up at least every year, even if I want to paint my walls a light or medium paint color – I can’t because Revere Pewter has already taken over that role. If I paint the walls a deep light color other than Revere Pewter, they will fight each other. So white, white or darker (I definitely don’t want an open layout in my house).
In all the photos above, the walls are Benjamin Moore Edgecomb Gray (lightened to provide contrast), but I recently changed the walls to Benjamin Moore White Dove (although I still don’t like the look).

If you’re the kind of person who chooses a color and sticks with it for months, don’t let the above sway you. If you’re someone who loves something regardless of whether it’s in fashion or when it’s out of style, fill your niche! Hehe, if you’re forever and ever convinced of warm white/white walls or medium to medium black – THINK FRIENDLY! R! But if you’re like me and like to switch things up every now and then, Revere Pewter will severely limit your future choices.

Revere Pewter is a wonderful neutral. It’s not gray or dark – just a nice mid-tone green. It is ideal for open plans as it works well in many types of spaces.
In terms of color, Revere Pewter is similar to Sherwin Williams Razy Gray, but slightly warmer and darker. Nice gray, slightly gray feel cooler and brighter. So if you love this color family but are looking for a little more warmth, try Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter.
Revere Pewter Hc 172
Revere Pewter is also similar in light SW Accessible Beige with pink and gray undertones. In other words, Accessible Beige HC-172 is a warmer gray than Revere Pewter.

Although I have yet to use Revere Pewter in our home, it is one of the most popular Greige paint colors around! I knew I needed to know more about it to decide if it was right for us.

Paint Color Trends And Forecasts
LRV stands for Light Reflectance Value. It’s a measure of how much light a color reflects, or in other words, how bright the color is. On a scale of 0-100, 0 is true black and 100 is pure white.
Dark but not so bright. Painting this room will not be really bright.
In rooms that don’t get a lot of natural light, consider choosing a color with an LRV of 60 or higher. Or if you set your heart on Revere Pewter, you can lighten up your mixing by 25% or more.
Revere Pewter is a gorgeous, warm gray. It’s actually more blue than gray. Of course, you have to have a warm tone to achieve warmth.

Now, some of you may be saying, “I don’t want green!” I know what you’re thinking. Make sure it’s not Revere Pewter
Green Often appears as a soft and warm gray or greenish. However, in some lights, only the green light may come through.
