Revere Pewter loves the world of the stage. Colors That Match Revere Pewter
The bridge is a light dark blue, perfect if you like a soft blue sky. It veers slightly from a periwinkle/lavender blue to a warmer/green blue, and never has that aggressive nursery blue color you’re trying to avoid! This is another very versatile color for both public and private spaces and is reminiscent of water and sky.
Picking The Perfect Gray Paint {revere Pewter}
This is my absolute favorite in light green. Again, more complex colors on the warm/yellow side of the green spectrum than sage/blue. And green is the true neutrality of nature! This shade goes well with garden colors, rich, warm wood colors and other shades of green and blue! Revere Pewter, also known as 973 Ice Formations, is one of Benjamin Moore’s best-selling paint colors. According to Benjamin Moore, it’s “a popular neutral that provides a versatile bridge between warm and cool tones.” This indicates that it works in different colors.
Revere Pewter has a light reflection value of 55.05, which is a medium color. Not too dark and not too bright.
Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter Review & Inspiration Ring’s End
When painted on walls, it has a cool neutral tone and looks best in west and south facing rooms. But it’s a pretty classic color that can be used safely anywhere in the house.
Along with a cooler appearance, river pewter should also have a cooler tone to complement the color. I studied all of Benjamin Moore’s color swatches in different lighting scenarios and picked a few colors that all worked well.
Don’t be fooled by the name. Mount Rainier Gray is a mix of ice blue and cool gray, giving large walls a clean blue look. It’s a neutral color (not too bright or too dark) and looks good in any room. LRV 59.48
Feather Grey, which is slightly cooler than Mountain Rainier Grey, is also a mid-tone color. As you can see in the photo below, it looks great with the sofa, a darker version of Revere Pewter.

Province Blue is a medium turquoise with gray undertones, occupying the cooler end of the spectrum. A great complement or accent color to Revere Pewter. As you can see below, they are best used in bathrooms, laundry rooms, and accent furniture or cabinets.
Comfortable is light blue with a mix of teal and gray. And use Revere Pewter as an accent wall or as a great complementary color in an adjoining room. It is cool in color and has a color depth similar to river pewter. You can use this color in your bedroom, bathroom, laundry or office.
Edgecomb Gray is the next lightest shade to Revere Pewter in the Benjamin Moore color palette. Also known as 972 Alaskan Skies and OC-15 Baby Fawn, this is one of our best sellers every year. Because of its versatility, it can be the color of an entire house.
1521 Also known as Nature’s Essential, Natural Cream is about half a shade lighter than River Pewter. According to Benjamin Moore, it’s “a light gray that complements both warm and cool color schemes.” It has a slightly more yellow tint than river pewter, but will look like a lighter version if used in the next room.
Benjamin Moore Williams Revere Pewter: A Complete Color Review
Each room has different lighting, but in most cases the exact same color looks different in adjacent rooms. It’s exactly the same.
Sepral is white with cool gray tones. Also known as China White, this color has been Benjamin Moore’s favorite color for decades. Because it’s lighter than Edgecomb Gray or Natural Cream, it’s perfect for rooms that don’t get much natural light.
Ashley Gray’s tone is basically the same as River Pewter, but darker. Also known as Waynesboro Taupe 1544 and Shenandoah Taupe AC-36. And like Revere Pewter, there’s also a slight hint of violet tint in certain lights.
Slightly darker than Revere Pewter, would be great for an accent wall or adjoining room. This stylish bedroom is painted with pashmina. I like the contrast of the white bed.
Best Neutral Paint Colors That Never Go Out Of Style
Vapor is a clear, soft white with a warm, neutral tone. It pairs well with Revere Pewter and isn’t as perfect as other whites.
Silver Satin is a classic off-white with a slight lavender scent like river pewter. If you want a more subtle contrast to the shades of white, you can use river pewter as a trim color. One of Benjamin Moore’s best selling paint colors.
I always recommend sampling the paint color before applying it to the wall. There are several ways to do this, such as painting a section of the wall, painting small foam boards that can be moved around the room, or using peel-and-stick patterns.
When sampling paint colors, always check the colors at different times of the day because they can look different depending on the light. If possible, see how it looks on a cloudy day, at night, and on a clear day.
